Growing gourds requires a lot of space. Some vines can reach up to 30 feet long. Keeping this in mind, plant 3-4 seeds in a hill every 4 feet, with rows being 5 feet apart.
Soil Preperation & Growing conditions
- Gourds need full sun
- Well drained soil (but will settle for less)
- A soil with a PH range of 5.8-6.2 (A soil test will tell you if you need to add lime or make nutritional additions)
